Level of Household Income Drop Varies According to Dominant Industry

The recent Census based study on the extent of household income decline didn’t really come as a much of a shock. It seems that a state’s level of household income decline depends a lot on the state of the dominant industry in that region. The states that had connections to growth sectors experienced much less decline and in some cases actually grew in the past few years while those regions with struggling industries experienced declines.
